Clay Jewelry Box Hare Rabbit Bunny Blue Sparkle Whimsical Sculpture Box

This clay box was thrown from porcelaneous stoneware on the potters wheel in one piece. After some drying it was cut and fitted , smoothed, feet added and then I got to sculpt the hare(rabbit) to fit the form of this box. Each sculpture is carefully made and are all one of a kind. After a first bisque firing I then can decorate and paint the body design and the small sculpture with red polka dots designs of loosely painted grass in black that aligns with the lid . Then I wax the sculpture to resist the glaze in some places and not others and glaze the rest of the box completely. Then, it is fired again to stoneware temps.
