This sweet french butter bell, or butter cloche, was hand in two parts by hand on the potters wheel from a porcelaneous stoneware clay. The pieces are let to dry some and then cleaned up and carefully fitted to create this form. I am very particular about my dishes and strive to make them beautiful and functional.

This piece features a hand painted bunny excited to see Waffle House is close! Turquoise polka dots and loose grass accents the main imagery for a colorful and fun kitchen item to add to your home decor.

To use, soften butter and press into the lidded portion. Fill base with enough water to cover a little of the end of the lid when inserted to seal the butter away from the air thereby keeping it fresh for up to ten days on the counter. If your butter is unsalted please add I tsp of salt to the water. Refrigerate one hour to set the butter then place on the counter and use with ease whenever you need a little pat. I love the challenge of decorating a butter better and this one is so fun and I hope you love it too. This is great gift for the foodie , upgrade your butter game and donut looking good too. This item should be washed between sticks of butter.

Dishwasher safe but hand wash is best.
